Volotea a low cost Spanish airline has just released flights from Murcia airport to Madrid and Barcelona starting on the 1st December 2023. This is great news for the region and will hopefully give residents and visitors more options to access this beautiful part of Spain.

The flights to Madrid will initially operate on Tuesday and Friday from the 1st December. On the 9th January this will change to Monday and Friday.

The flights to Barcelona will commence on the 3rd December and will initially fly on Wednesdays and Sundays. This will change on the 9th January to Monday and Friday.

The airline is hoping to increase the total number of seats they offer from the Murcia region to 45,000 as they also have other routs operating to Asturias, Menorca and Santander.
